Practical classes continue, conducted by employees of the Criminal Analysis Directorates of the Main Directorates of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk oblasts for cadets of the 2nd year of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU of DSUIA.
The class was conducted by the Deputy Head of the Criminal Analysis Department, Police Major Dmytro Churbakov, and Inspector of the Department, Police Lieutenant Maksym Parshykov.
Features of searching for information in social networks were considered. Issues of geospatial intelligence, analysis of social connections and investigation of digital footprint and person’s behavior were discussed.
Cadets learned to analyze information available in social networks and use it in analytical activities.
Conducting such events contributes to the formation of professional competencies of future police officers, expands their practical knowledge and strengthens interaction between DSUIA and the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Oblast.
