Internship supervisors from Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs inspected the completion of internships by cadets in practical units of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
The monitoring activities were carried out by academic staff members of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology and the Department of Criminal Procedure of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
The cadets’ internships are aimed at deepening and consolidating the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies, as well as developing practical skills and abilities necessary for professional activity. Particular attention is paid to compliance with legal requirements, ensuring constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, personal safety rules, and the specifics of performing official duties under the legal regime of martial law.
The internship supervisors reviewed the conditions of practical training, the specifics of cadets’ performance of official tasks, and related matters. Such activities are intended to improve the quality of practical training for future law enforcement officers and to ensure close cooperation between the university and National Police units.
