Lyceum pupils visited the State Institution “Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast” – a medical facility where wounded military personnel are undergoing treatment.
The meeting was held to provide comprehensive support to veterans, offer them psychological assistance, show care for their psycho-emotional health, and demonstrate the importance of defenders’ contribution to ensuring the country’s security.
During the event, pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the MIA greeted the military personnel on the arrival of spring and expressed their best wishes. Participants discussed associations evoked by spring and read thematic poems prepared by the lyceum pupils.
At the end, military personnel and lyceum pupils jointly created a ribbon of greetings for their dearest people, conveying warm words and wishes. The organizers note that support from loved ones is an important moral resource for military personnel.
The meeting contributed to the awareness of the importance of constant support for the state’s defenders, the development of empathy and responsible attitude toward national values. The lyceum pupils had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the realities of life of wounded military personnel and to understand the significance of daily care and attention toward them.
