Support for Defenders: Adaptive Training Continues at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs

NEWS, Sport for military veterans

The classes are aimed at supporting the physical and psychological recovery of veterans and stabilizing the functioning of the musculoskeletal system. Participants work on developing strength, endurance, and flexibility — important components of the rehabilitation process.

The training sessions are organized with the participation of specialists from the Department of Special Physical Training. During the classes, participants perform a set of exercises on training equipment, strengthen muscles, and improve the overall tone of the body. All workloads are selected individually, taking into account the needs and capabilities of each veteran.

Instructors pay special attention to the correct technique of performing exercises and the gradual increase in training intensity. This approach makes the classes safe and effective, and also contributes to the gradual restoration of physical abilities.

In addition to the rehabilitation effect, the training also has an important social component. The classes are held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and support, and shared experience adds motivation and confidence in one’s own abilities. Participants note that systematic work in the gym brings noticeable progress in physical condition and has a positive effect on emotional well-being.
