Participants in the event were cadets of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostyschev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine, after which all those present paid tribute to the fallen defenders with a moment of silence.
The head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of DSUIA, police lieutenant colonel Natalia KARNAUKH, told the lyceum students about the history of the creation of the Anthem, its significance as a symbol of statehood, unity, and resilience of the Ukrainian people, as well as the stages of the official approval of the state symbol.
The lyceum students were visited by the orchestra of the Central Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine, led by Major Oleksii KNYSHENKO. The musicians prepared a rich concert program, performing patriotic songs that are heard at the front and in the rear.
The director of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Paternal Education named after O. Hostyschev, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kyrylo NEDRIA, addressed the students and emphasized that the State Anthem of Ukraine is an important symbol: with this composition, our defenders go into battle, it unites generations and inspires the struggle for freedom and independence.
Such events contribute to deepening knowledge of state symbols, fostering patriotism, shaping national consciousness, and strengthening the sense of unity between generations in the face of modern challenges.
