The event was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure within the framework of teaching the discipline “Organization of Activities of District Police Officers”. The class was conducted by Senior Lecturer of the Department Mykola Repan.
The Head of the Educational Security Service Sector of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Police Lieutenant Colonel Olena Tkachova, met with district police officers who are undergoing training under the specialization program at the Department of Organization of Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning.
Currently, the activities of the newly created Educational Security Service of the National Police of Ukraine, which performs preventive, advisory and coordination functions aimed at forming a safe space in the field of education, are of particular relevance.
One of the key conditions for the effectiveness of this activity is the interaction between employees of the Educational Security Service and other entities that carry out measures in the field of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence, including district police officers.
During the meeting with Olena Tkachova, it was emphasized that cooperation between the services includes conducting joint preventive measures, patriotic education, countering bullying, domestic violence and assistance in resolving conflicts.
In addition, the issue of countering recruitment of Ukrainian children by Russian special services for committing unlawful acts was raised. The importance of rapid response to threats and coordination of actions during emergency situations, which helps protect children, was also discussed.
The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue, which aroused significant interest among all participants.
