Cadets of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the event.

The class was conducted by the inspector of the Department of Control over the Activity of Checkpoints and Interaction with Law Enforcement Bodies of the Preventive Activity Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region, Police Captain Hanna Turchanikova.
During the class, the principles of operation of modern video surveillance systems, their technical capabilities and significance for monitoring the operational situation in the city were considered. Special attention was paid to the use of digital technologies for preventing offenses, identifying suspicious situations, and оперативного response of law enforcement bodies.
Examples of the use of video surveillance systems in the activities of the units of the National Police of Ukraine were given. The cadets learned about the possibilities of analytical processing of video data, identification of events, and the significance of these technologies for solving offenses and increasing the level of security in public places.
Conducting such classes contributes to the formation of professional skills of future law enforcement officers, expands their practical knowledge in the field of modern security technologies, and strengthens interaction between educational institutions and police units.
