The elective course “Fundamentals of Road Safety and Driving” aims to develop responsible attitudes toward traffic regulations among lyceum students and provide them with basic knowledge of safe behavior on the road.

During the latest class, students became familiar with the classification of vehicles and the driving license categories permitted under the legislation of Ukraine. The instructors also explained the key provisions of the Traffic Rules, including the rights and responsibilities of drivers and passengers.
A separate part of the lesson focused on road signs. Lyceum students reviewed the main types of signs and their functions and discussed typical road situations in which proper understanding of traffic signs helps drivers and pedestrians make safe decisions.

The elective combines theoretical training with practical learning elements and is aimed at helping students acquire the knowledge necessary to navigate road situations and behave responsibly in traffic. The course contributes to the development of a legal culture among road users, deepens knowledge of traffic regulations and lays the foundation for safe and responsible driving in the future.
