On the eve of the competition, Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalina met with the team.
In March 2026, a practical shooting championship will take place among cadets of higher education institutions with specific training conditions under the authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and higher military educational institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine.
The team will represent the university under the leadership of coach, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Firearms Training of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Yevhen Zelenskyi.
Ihor Mahdalina noted that DSUIA athletes demonstrate a high level of training, win prize places in competitions, and achieve significant results in various sports — and practical shooting is no exception.
Ihor Mahdalina wished the athletes inspiration, accuracy, and достойно represent DSUIA at the national level.
