Students and faculty of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in the event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the higher education institution.
The monograph “The Militia in Ukraine During the Period of Activity of the Ministry of Public Order Protection (September 1962 – 1968)” was presented by the Head of the Educational and Research Laboratory for the Study of Problems of Ensuring the Rights of Persons Affected by War of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Retired Police Major General Oleksandr Yarmysh.
The monograph is dedicated to an insufficiently studied topic in historical and legal science – the organization and activities of the militia in Ukraine in 1962–1968.

This book is the sixth in the unique cycle of works by the authors on the history of law enforcement agencies on the territory of Ukraine, which studies the period starting from the 18th century to the present day.
Oleksandr Yarmysh emphasized that the monograph may be of interest to scholars, practical employees of the National Police of Ukraine, veterans of internal affairs bodies, cadets and students – to everyone interested in the history of law and law enforcement agencies.
