The event was organized by the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU.
Employees of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of DSUIA took part in the event.
Deputy Dean for Educational and Research Activities of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU Maksym Bohuslavskyi presented the Faculty. Pupils of Dnipro Lyceum No. 81 of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council learned about the conditions for admission to DSUIA, specialties and specializations in which higher education applicants study. Separate emphasis was placed on the importance of the new specialization “Criminal Analysis”.
In addition, lyceum pupils familiarized themselves with the investigative-criminalistic training ground, “Child-Friendly Crisis Room”, training ground “Prevention and Counteraction to Domestic Violence”, multimedia shooting range, saw how classes are conducted and practical skills are acquired by cadets.
Such events contribute to early career guidance for schoolchildren, formation of a conscious choice of future profession, increase of interest in law enforcement activities and deepening of understanding of the specifics of studying at DSUIA.
