An interactive meeting-training with the veteran community took place at DSUIA

The event titled “Psychological components of happiness: live, dream, act” was held with the participation of university psychologists to mark the International Day of Happiness.

The meeting was held in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, bringing together veterans and combat participants among the university staff. The trainer of the event, leading psychologist Hanna Mhlynets, offered the group a series of art practices aimed at awareness and restoration of internal resources. Performing such exercises helps maintain emotional balance, cope better with experiences, and more easily overcome the difficulties of everyday life.

During the meeting, participants shared their own memories of moments of happiness and tried to analyze and identify its main components. Those present came to the common conclusion that even memories of happy events can serve as a powerful supportive resource, motivate action, and act as a kind of “antidepressant.”

As noted by the head of the psychological unit, Serhii Vyshnevskyi, such meetings have already become traditional at the university. They are aimed at supporting the physical and mental health of combat participants, as well as strengthening their psychological well-being.
