The meeting for trainees of the CPPP “Police Academy” was organized by the head of the cycle, Police Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Karpenko.

Military veterans who are undergoing prosthetics and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the city of Dnipro took part in the event.
The event was held with the aim of creating an open dialogue between veterans and future law enforcement officers. Emphasis was placed on fostering respect among “Police Academy” trainees for the defenders of Ukraine, understanding the value of the country’s independence, as well as developing a sense of responsibility and professional motivation.
The veterans emphasized the importance of strength of spirit, endurance, support from comrades, family, and society, as well as the need to maintain motivation for a full life even after serious injuries.
This format of interaction contributed to a deeper understanding of the realities of war, awareness of the consequences of combat operations for servicemen, and the formation of an emotional connection between the participants of the event.
The role of law enforcement agencies in supporting veterans after their return to peaceful life was discussed, in particular in the areas of maintaining public order, social protection, and interaction with the community.
The defenders emphasized the importance of such meetings as an opportunity to be heard, share their own experience, and feel support. In turn, the trainees of the “Police Academy” expressed gratitude for the opportunity for personal communication and for gaining valuable life experience.
