At the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, a meeting was held for first- and second-year cadets with military veteran Andrii Shevchenko.

The event, aimed at military-patriotic education of youth, the formation of legal awareness, and understanding the role of a police officer in modern society, was organized by the leadership of the first year and the acting head of the Department of Special Physical Training, Police Captain Dmytro Anisimov.

During the meeting, the veteran shared his professional and combat experience, emphasizing the key role of adherence to the rule of law, responsibility, and service to the state. He spoke about the difficulties and challenges that law enforcement officers usually face, provided examples of effective interaction with citizens, and highlighted the importance of teamwork and the ability to make quick decisions in critical situations.

Andrii Shevchenko paid special attention to the moral qualities of a law enforcement officer—humanity, empathy, adherence to professional ethics, and readiness to help.

As noted by the deputy head of the course, Senior Police Lieutenant Yuliia Khorolska, the event became an important element in shaping the professional and value orientations of future police officers. The meeting with the veteran allowed cadets to better understand professional standards and ethical principles of service, realize the complexity and responsibility of the police profession, and contributed to the development of motivation and readiness to effectively perform official duties.
