A series of career guidance events was conducted in face-to-face and distance formats.
In the online meeting organized by the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA, students from secondary education institutions of Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi oblasts took part.
The Head of the Department Volodymyr Kiyan together with associate professors Liliia Foksheia and Roman Karpenko familiarized the students of Lyceum No. 10, Lyceum No. 14, Lyceum No. 15 of Khmelnytskyi City Council, as well as Lyceum No. 96 of Zaporizhzhia City Council with the educational opportunities of the university, the specifics of the specialties, the conditions of the admission campaign of 2026 and the prospects of employment after graduation.
The Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Sanakoiev together with the Inspector of the Selection Organization Sector of the Human Resources Department of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Police Senior Lieutenant Valentyna Drobna held a meeting at Lyceum No. 107 in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Senior school students learned about the specifics of training future investigators, operatives and criminal analysts, the material and technical base of the university and the peculiarities of joining the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of DSUIA Vadym Hashev visited the State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution “Professional Agrarian Lyceum” in the city of Kobeliaky. The conditions of admission, the advantages of studying at a university of the MIA system, career growth prospects and the specifics of the law enforcement profession were discussed.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training Ihor Chobotko held a career guidance meeting in online format with 11th grade applicants of the Communal Institution of General Secondary Education “Dnipropetrovsk Professional Sports College” of DMR. The participants were thoroughly familiarized with the conditions of admission to DSUIA, the procedure for submitting an electronic application and the current educational specialties. It was emphasized that the university offers not only studying, but also active student life: various sports sections operate, competitions are regularly held from city to all-Ukrainian level.
As part of the career guidance work, the Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA Olha Kulinich held a meeting with graduates of the Communal Institution of General Secondary Education “Balabynska Gymnasium ‘Prestige’” of Kushuhum Settlement Council of Zaporizhzhia District of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
During the event, current issues of choosing a future profession, the peculiarities of the admission campaign and the prospects of studying in the field of law were highlighted. The students received comprehensive information regarding the conditions of admission to the specialties D8 “Law” and K9 “Law Enforcement”, C4 “Psychology”, F3 “Computer Sciences”, in particular regarding the required subjects, requirements for applicants, stages of the admission campaign and opportunities for further employment. Special attention was paid to the content of the educational programs offered by the institute, their practical orientation and modern approaches to training specialists.
Such events contribute to the early professional self-determination of young people, the formation of a conscious choice of profession, increasing interest in law enforcement activities and deepening the understanding of the specifics of studying at DSUIA.
