The event took place under the chairmanship of the Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina.
During the work of the council, a number of important issues of the higher education institution’s activity were considered.
Changes were made to the personal composition of the Scientific and Methodological Council and to the composition of its sections. The issue of conducting the Rector’s control in the II semester of the 2025/2026 academic year was discussed. The draft Regulation on the use of artificial intelligence in the implementation of educational, research and managerial activities at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was considered.
The issue of participation of scientific and pedagogical workers and higher education students in competitions of various levels was discussed, and Professional programmes of short-term advanced training were also considered.
Methodological recommendations were also recommended for use in the educational process:
● methodological recommendations on the organization and conduct of the attestation (comprehensive) exam and defense of internship for higher education students of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pretrial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine;
● methodological recommendations on the organization and conduct of a quest on the disciplines of the Department of Operational and Search Activities of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
Planned scientific and educational-methodical literature was also approved and recommended for printing.
