Experience of a Veteran for Students: an Educational Meeting at DSUIA

The event was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education conducted a meeting of the scientific club on the topic: “Current Issues of Investigating Criminal Offenses Related to Ensuring Law and Order, Combating Crime, and the Post-War Reconstruction of Ukraine.”

The invited guest during the meeting with students was a serviceman, veteran, and currently an employee of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Oleksandr Chuchko. The veteran shared his experience with the students, spoke about his personal path, about how he began defending Ukraine in 2022, and how he became a platoon commander.

During the event, current issues of investigating criminal offenses in the context of armed conflict were discussed. Oleksandr Chuchko emphasized the specifics of combating crime under martial law and outlined practical aspects of ensuring law and order.

Higher education students showed active participation in the discussion, asked questions, and took part in a professional exchange of views.

Special attention was given to issues of ensuring law and order, combating crime, and the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
