A meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs under the chairmanship of the Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalyna.
Representatives of the DSUIA team, winners of the championship in practical shooting among higher education institutions with specific learning conditions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service, and higher military educational institutions of the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard of Ukraine, were awarded a cup and a diploma.
The academic title of Professor was conferred, and a certificate was awarded to Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education, Oleksandra Nestertsova-Sobakar.
The academic title of Associate Professor was conferred to:
● Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Svitlana Korohod;
● Associate Professor of the Department of Special Physical Training, Dmytro Petrushyn;
● Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines, Oleksandr Sydorov;
● Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of State and Law, Olha Chepik-Trehubenko.
Doctor of Law diplomas were awarded to Ksenia Kosiachenko and Viktoriia Rufanova.
By order of the Head of the National Police of Ukraine, early special ranks were conferred upon university officers:
● Vladyslav Lazarev was awarded the rank of Police Colonel;
● Stanislava Myroniuk was awarded the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel;
● Svitlana Korohod was awarded the rank of Police Major.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of DSUIA, the special rank of Police Corporal was conferred upon cadets Valeriia Bunchuzhna, Ilona Buiakova, Maksym Velykyi, Mykola Hutsol, Nikita Dziuba, Bohdan Stepanenko, Mykyta Tolmachov, and Danylo Yurchenko.
In addition, a number of important issues regarding the university’s activities were addressed.
The state of DSUIA’s international activities in 2025 was discussed, as well as the publication activity of university staff in international scientometric databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, Google Scholar, and the scientific professional journals of the higher education institution.
The Regulation on the use of artificial intelligence in the implementation of educational, research, and managerial activities at the university was approved. The indexing of the cost of paid educational services for students enrolled in 2023–2025 was also discussed.
The Regulation on the provision of paid educational services by the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs in the field of postgraduate education and professional short-term training programs for police officers was approved.
In addition, changes to the composition of the editorial boards of the scientific journals “Scientific Bulletin of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs” and “Philosophy, Economics and Law Review” were approved, and a number of publications were recommended for printing.
