An Open Day was held at the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

MIA Lyceum

The event, aimed at providing comprehensive information about the educational process, living conditions, and admission rules to the lyceum, brought together more than 120 visitors—prospective applicants and their parents.

The guests were welcomed by the director of the lyceum of security orientation and national-patriotic education, Kyrylo Nedria, who emphasized that the main goal of the Open Day is to demonstrate the full range of opportunities offered by the institution and to help students make an informed decision about admission. He highlighted the importance of combining modern education, physical training, and upbringing in a safe environment.

During the event, representatives of the administration, teachers, and educators presented to the guests the educational programs, specialized disciplines, and practical skills that meet the standards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and contribute to the development of a high level of professional competencies among young people. Visitors learned about the advantages of studying at the lyceum: modern material and technical facilities, practical training in pre-medical aid, tactical training, and physical education, as well as the opportunity to continue their studies at higher education institutions within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Special attention was paid to the living conditions of the lyceum students. During a tour of the premises, prospective applicants and their parents viewed comfortable rooms, academic buildings, sports grounds, and other infrastructure facilities that ensure a safe and convenient environment for students.

Particular emphasis was placed on the admission rules: the speakers explained in detail the stages of the competitive selection process, requirements for submitting documents, testing timelines, and evaluation criteria. Applicants and their parents received comprehensive answers to all questions regarding the specifics of the 2026 admission campaign.

The event provided applicants with direct communication with teachers and lyceum students, showcased the real conditions of study, and helped them shape their own professional trajectory.
