At the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the creative works competition dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the university was held under the theme “DSUIA: 60 Years of Dignity and Honor.”
The event was opened by the Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalyna. He congratulated the participants and noted that creativity plays an important role in the lives of cadets, students, and pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, contributing to personal development, patriotism, and creative thinking.
About 50 participants joined the competition. Based on the evaluation results, 10 winners were determined.
During the final event, diplomas for creative achievements in the categories of poetry, essay writing, visual arts, and the creation of poetic slogans were awarded to DSUIA cadets and students. Officer of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine, Senior Police Lieutenant Yuliia Khorolska, was also awarded for poetry and artistic photography.
Representatives of the Dnipro Lyceum of security orientation and national-patriotic education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were awarded for creating a triptych painting.
Such events make it possible to reveal the creative potential of young people, foster a sense of pride in their university, respect for its history and traditions, and also develop patriotism and aesthetic awareness.
