The event took place at the Municipal Enterprise “Regional Medical Center of Family Health” of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council. The Donor Day was attended by DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Ihor Kovaliov, and Assistant to the Rector Volodymyr Kovbasa.
Cadets, officers, students, and staff of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs donated blood. Each of them followed the required diet and approached the donation procedure responsibly.

At the beginning, each donor was examined by doctors, had their blood pressure measured, and was asked about their well-being.

Participants of the initiative donated approximately 450 milliliters of blood each — it will be used to help patients of the Dnipro Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.

At the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, volunteering and blood donation are an integral part of forming civic awareness and professional ethics of future law enforcement officers. Higher education students systematically participate in charitable initiatives, blood donation campaigns, and assistance to the military and those affected by the war. Such activities foster responsibility, compassion, and readiness to help others — qualities essential for a true defender of law and order.
