At the Police Academy of DSUIA, issues of veteran support were discussed

The purpose of the meeting was to exchange experience and develop an understanding of the challenges faced by veterans after returning to civilian life, as well as to increase the awareness of trainees regarding the specifics of interaction with this category of citizens.

The event was attended by Pavlo Smirnov, educator of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Major, and Oleh Dmytriiev, inspector of the fire support regiment “Dnipro-1” of the Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Liut,” Police Senior Lieutenant. The meeting was organized by the head of the training cycle, Police Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Karpenko.

During their speeches, the speakers shared practical service experience, outlined key aspects of veteran support, and emphasized the importance of developing a state veteran policy focused on the real needs of defenders. The trainees of the Police Academy had the opportunity to ask questions, receive comprehensive answers, and participate in an engaging discussion.

The event became an important platform for combining theoretical training with practical experience, allowing trainees to better understand the specifics of working with veterans. Such initiatives contribute to the development of professional skills necessary for effective service in the context of modern challenges.
