Patrol police officers completed advanced training at DSUIA

Twenty-two trainees of the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA successfully completed their studies and received certificates.

The police officers represented Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Poltava regions. Over the course of two weeks, they mastered the specifics of patrolling, the basics of explosive ordnance disposal, and algorithms for providing first aid. Special attention was paid to firearms, tactical, and psychological training, as well as to the procedure for drafting official documents and ensuring public safety during mass events in accordance with the Scandinavian model.

The trainees passed a comprehensive exam, practicing algorithms of patrol police actions in various service situations.

The graduates were congratulated on completing their training by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov. He emphasized that systematic professional development, the combination of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and the ability to respond quickly to non-standard challenges and situations are key to effective service and public trust.

The police officers were awarded the corresponding certificates.
