Off-site career guidance events took place in Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Vinnytsia with the participation of specialists and students of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Assistant to the Rector Volodymyr Kovbasa addressed the lyceum students with a welcoming speech, emphasizing that the university provides proper conditions for the intellectual, physical, and creative development of students, and that the knowledge gained serves as a solid foundation for further professional activity.

Representatives of the university noted that, taking into account modern challenges, significant attention at DSUIA is paid to military-professional training, namely firearms, tactical and engineering training, topography, and tactical medicine. Modern training grounds are активно used in the educational process, where professional skills are practiced in conditions максимально close to real ones.

Lyceum students were presented with the activities of sports sections, scientific clubs, and creative groups, as well as key areas of the university’s volunteer movement. Higher education students also joined the events, presenting the educational and research institutes and faculties, and answering questions about studying and cadet daily life.

Thus, the lyceum students heard firsthand experiences from the head of cadet and student self-government, cadet of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine Maksym Khadzhyiskyi, cadet of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine Yehor Chursin, and student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education Sofiia Silina. They emphasized that studying at the university involves a systematic combination of theoretical knowledge with practical training, which is improved each year during training practice.

Such career guidance events provide lyceum students with comprehensive and objective information about the conditions of studying at DSUIA, the specifics of the educational process, and prospects for further service. This contributes to a more conscious choice of future profession, the formation of motivation for service, and the determination of their own educational and professional path.
