Representatives of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs conducted career guidance activities among school students

Future graduates were introduced to the specifics of studying at the university and were also provided with explanations regarding the 2026 admission campaign.

In particular, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Police Lieutenant Colonel Denys Yuriev, together with Lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training Vadym Chepurko, conducted a series of career guidance events at the Educational Complex No. 136 “Classical Gymnasium named after Cyril and Methodius” in Dnipro.

During the meetings, the conditions for admission to DSUIA were presented, along with information about faculties and specialties, the system of state support, social benefits, and employment opportunities for graduates..

Introductory online events with the participation of Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Major Elvira Sydorova, and second-year students of the faculty were held at Dnipro Lyceum No. 97 and Krynychky Lyceum No. 1. Senior students were informed about the specifics of the educational process at the university, living conditions for cadets, and opportunities for self-realization during their studies.

Cadets of the faculty also held an in-person meeting with students of Dnipro Lyceum No. 54, where they informed participants about the list of required documents for admission and the main stages of candidate selection.

The career guidance work was supported by the Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Dmytro Sanakoiev, who met with graduates of Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 71. Future applicants were provided with a detailed algorithm for registration on the applicant portal, introduced to the university’s material and technical base, and informed about the advantages of studying under state-funded places. Each participant received informational booklets with the contact details of the admissions committee.

Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure Olena Soldatenko and Inspector of the Recruitment Organization Sector of the Human Resources Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region, Police Senior Lieutenant Valentyna Drobna, met with students of Zaporizhzhia Specialized School No. 7 with advanced study of foreign languages. The speakers focused on the specifics of professional training of future law enforcement officers, social guarantees, living conditions, and career prospects after graduation.

The conducted activities became an important step in supporting young people at the stage of planning their future careers and contributed to increasing awareness of the opportunities for studying at DSUIA.
