The representative of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs has occupied the 3rd place in the competition of the best scientific works among students and young scientists. The event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine adoption.
Solemn awarding of winners took place at the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. The jury included outstanding lawyers, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine, V.M. Koretskyi State and Law Institute and others.
Namely, Alina Protsenko, the 2nd year student of the Law Faculty from DSUIA, has occupied the 3rd place at the All-Ukrainian Essay Competition “Youth on the Constitution of Ukraine” held by the Political-Legal and Religious Research Institute conjointly with the Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine due to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine. Her work has been scientifically guided by Larysa Nalyvaiko, DSUIA vice-rector.
It shall be mentioned that Alina was one of more than 1500 participants.
Yevhen Kotorobai, head of the Coordination Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine, greeted guests during the official part.
“Talented youth will lead our county to prosperity in future. Today it is of greatest significance to pay attention to the strengthening of constitutional Ukraine. The results of your scientific considerations indicate that talented youth lives in our country, has active civilian position and is ready to constructive changes!” Yevhen Kotorobai said.
The competition was organized and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and V.M. Koretskyi State and Law Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Youth and Sports Department of Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv Affiliate of Small Youth Academy of Sciences and “Yurinkom Inter” publishing. It aimed at determining legal bases of independent Ukraine, its sovereignty, territorial integrity, provision of human and citizen rights as well as engaging scientific student youth and young scientists in studying actual issues of constitutional and legal regulation in Ukraine.
