2021-2022 academic year has officially started! The solemn event devoted to the Knowledge Day was held at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs today. University management, scientific and pedagogical staff as well as students and cadets gathered at DSUIA ground.
Andrii Fomenko, DSUIA Rector, police colonel, greeted first-year cadets and students with the start of the academic year.
“This day is special, because today you will make the first step on your way to new knowledge and professional growth. Persistently and purposefully master the profession chosen, since your skills will become the ground for new achievements in the future”, Andrii Fomenko proclaimed.
Diplomas “The Best Entrant-2021” were handed over in terms of the event. Rector Andrii Fomenko congratulated this year entrants with the highest entrance scores, namely Serhii Sanakoiev, cadet from the Faculty of Strategic Investigations, and Oleksandra Yatsechko, student from the Law Faculty.
Moreover, the best cadets were awarded for exemplary performance of official duties, active civil position and participation in criminal investigations with “DSUIA 55 years” medal.
Students, who had taken an active part in creative and civil university events, scientific competitions, as well as cadets, who had obtained “Master of Sports” degree, were awarded with relevant diplomas.
The most solemn moment has come and Rector Andrii Fomenko gave a symbolic knowledge key and student ID to the first-year cadets and students.
eSTeD, the University creative team, presented its performance during the event.
At the end of the event DSUIA cadets marched to the sounds of the University orchestra.
