Photo Exhibition Devoted to Ukrainian Female Defenders at DSUIA

Photo exhibition “Women, Peace and Security in Ukraine” is open for visiting at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. The project is initiated in terms of “16 Days against Violence”.

Larysa Nalyvaiko, DSUIA vice-rector, and Iryna Hrytsai, Rector’s advisor on gender issues, are the organizers of the exhibition.

Ludivine Estienne and Denis Yaniev, the OSCE supervisors, as well as cadets of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs were the first to watch the photos.

The photo exhibition includes 33 photos with the stories of Ukrainian female defenders and is supported by the International Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Women’s Fund” in cooperation with the United Nations Framework for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (UN-Women) and the parliamentary inter-factional association “Equal Opportunities”. In particular, the exhibition was published in partnership with the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy as well as with the financial support of Sweden.

Photo exhibition will be open at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs before 10 December. Everyone interested will be possible to watch photos of Ukrainian female defenders within this time (location: Square Hall of the University).
