Patriotic Unity Bridge at DSUIA

“Unity Bridge – Ukraine United” event devoted to the Unity Day took place at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, KhNUIA and DSUIA joined the online meeting.

Kateryna Pavlichenko, deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, addressed the audience with greeting words. She emphasized that currently it was vital to support independence and indivisibility of Ukraine.

“All subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are demonstrating that any attempts to destabilize situation in the country, efforts to rise panics and create horrifying atmosphere will fail. We can resist. We are united! We are ready to work in favor of our state, protect its territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty as well as our citizens. I am confident that the future of Ukraine is in our hands”, Kateryna Pavlichenko stated.

Andrii Fomenko, rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel, greeted the present guests. He mentioned that today we demonstrated real resistance, unity and readiness to fight information-propaganda and moral-psychological tension.

“On this Unity Day, we are conducting events not only at the university, but also at the city level. I am sure that consolidation of Ukrainians is the condition of preserving Ukrainian statehood as well as contributing to its development. Such events as this virtual bridge are necessary for us to remember our history and know our traditions. This unites us”, Andrii Fomenko paid the audience’s attention.

Dmytro Shvets, the first vice-rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, police colonel, was the moderator of the event.

DSUIA scientific and pedagogical staff as well as students and cadets joined the discussion. The virtual bridge took place in several university locations simultaneously. All participants could highlight the actual character of the Unity Day for Ukraine, since such events are directed to supporting the state and uniting citizens.
