600 DSUIA Cadets and Students Participated in the Unity Day Celebration

Unity Day celebrated together! We expressed together the love to Ukraine. On February 16, 600 cadets and students of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs conducted a large-scale flash mob at the city center. The solemn patriotic event was held near the biggest flagpole in Dnipro.

DSUIA representatives participated in the event together with Andrii Fomenko, rector, police colonel.

Cadets, students and citizens performed the State Anthem of Ukraine all together accompanied by the wind orchestra.

The most solemn moment was the holding of a large blue-and-yellow flag by all cadets.

Future police officers and students stood near the flagpole with small national flags in their arms blowing them as the sign of unity of an independent state. Dnipro youth together with the university representatives expressed their civil position clearly and loudly.

For Anastasiia Davydenko, cadet of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, it was not the first patriotic flash mob in her life. She told us that such an event made her heart beating with happiness and elevation.

“We are full of pride. Not only for living in such a wonderful country, but also for the opportunity to participate in such events. This is the way to express our love to our Motherland being proud of it”, cadet of the Educational-and-Scientific Institute of Law and Training Specialists for the National Police Units claimed.

In terms of the event, DSUIA representatives were giving citizens patriotic booklets with the moto “We are united! Together we are invincible”.

Ukraine will celebrate the Unity Day on February 16 each year. A chain of patriotic events directed to consolidation of Ukrainians took place all over the country.
