We have a very ambitious weapon – the Ukrainian language: DSUIA participated in writing a radio dictation of national unity

Cadets, students, and employees of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs joined the largest flash mob to popularize the Ukrainian language – they wrote a radio dictation of national unity. Also, on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, the Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literary Competition for Pupils and Student Youth was officially opened at the educational institution.

Vice-rector Larisa Nalivayko congratulated the higher education graduates on a significant day for Ukraine and wished the competition participants to successfully pass all stages and achieve victory.

The first stage of the competition – the university competition, started today. All those willing could join. Cadets and students wrote an essay on one of the seven proposed topics. The strongest participants will advance to the next stages – regional and all-Ukrainian.

Also, on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian writing and language, students of higher education and scientific and pedagogical workers wrote the All-Ukrainian radio dictation of national unity.

“It is a great honor for me to write a dictation together with cadets and students, together with all of Ukraine. Today, we at the Ukrainian National Police are reaching for the light, we speak, write, listen, and choose Ukrainian,” said Iryna Tsaryova, professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Foreign Languages of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Specialist Training for National Police Units, and wished everyone to be vigilant and attentive.

The live broadcast was conducted by the presenter of the Ukrainian Radio, Roman Kolyada. The text “Your Home” was written by the Ukrainian author, director Iryna Tsylyk. People’s Artist of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva read the text.

You have exactly 24 hours to send the dictation for review, until 11:00 a.m. on November 10. You need to send a paper letter to the address: Kyiv, str. Khreshchatyk, 26, 01001. It is important that the date of sending is no later than November 10.

Take a photo/scan of the written text (in .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .tiff, .pdf format) and send it by 11:00 on November 10 to rd@suspilne.media or via the electronic form.

If you want to check your dictation yourself: the text of the radio dictation will be published on the websites of Ukrainian Radio and Public Broadcasting on November 11 at 11:00 a.m.
