An act worthy of respect!

A congratulatory letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the worthy upbringing of their daughter was received by the parents of a cadet of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs Anastasia Glushko, who in November 2022 detained a dangerous attacker.

The awards were presented to Vita and Serhii Glushko by the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region, General of the Police of the Third Rank Ruslan Osypenko and the Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Police of DSUIA, Major of the Police Serhii Balaban.

The meeting with the cadet and her parents took place on the basis of the Pokrovsky District Department of the National Police, where the student of higher education is currently undergoing an internship.

Serhii Balaban thanked Anastasia’s parents for their decent upbringing and wise instructions, which helped their daughter to find her way in an extreme situation and motivated her to show humanity and courage. The Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Police also noted that the university is proud of its cadets and is always ready to support enterprising youth.

Anastasia’s parents received a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and a commemorative badge “55 years of DSUIA”.

The cadet, in her turn, thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Police, and Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs for their high assessment of her actions and attention to her parents. She promised to continue to study diligently, to serve devotedly for the benefit of the Ukrainian people and in the name of the prosperity of her native alma mater.
