Tetiana Lomakina who is the Advisor – President’s Authorized Representative for issues of barrier-free access has paid a visit to Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. The eligibility of conditions created for persons with disabilities at the Higher Education Institution was checked during the working visit.
During the visit, Tetiana Lomakina was accompanied by Iryna Hrytsai who is the Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the Head of the Regional Military Administration.
The interactive class of the driving school for persons with disabilities of DSUIA and cars with manual control used for training were inspected during the working visit.
Tetiana Lomakina and Iryna Hrytsai talked to military personnel who improve the level of driving skills and provide recommendations on improving the system of training and technical support of vehicles.
Within the framework of the National Strategy on Barrier-Freeness, the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to implement projects aimed at the accessibility of services for people with disabilities.
Tetiana Lomakina noted that barrier-freeness is a trend of modern civilized society.
