The conference took place at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. Representatives from institutions, organizations, domestic and foreign higher education institutions participated in the event.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Scientist and Technician of Ukraine, Police Colonel Oleksandr YUNIN. On behalf of the university leadership, he welcomed the conference participants. Oleksandr YUNIN noted that the struggle for Ukraine’s independence has been going on for several centuries and today it has taken on a particularly dramatic color. Ukrainians have demonstrated heroism and strength of spirit, which have earned respect and admiration from all free nations of the world, whose support our society feels. Ukraine is facing military challenges, so it is especially important to discuss the rule of law and actions aimed at strengthening independence.
A welcoming speech was delivered by a member of the High Council of Justice, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oksana KVASHA.
Special discussions were provoked by the reports of Professor of the Department of Criminal Law at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Yuriy BAULIN; lawyer, doctoral student at the Charles University, Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Czech Republic) Natalia ISAYEVA; Director of the state enterprise “Biocluster” Andriy BONDARENKO; private notary of the Dnipro city notarial district, mediator, member of the commission for analytical and methodological support of the notarial chamber Marina ZYENIKOVA; Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Civil Law at Zaporizhzhia National University Georgiy SAMOYLENKO, and others.
The conference concluded with the development of substantive recommendations on the current problems of the rule of law in the context of modern global challenges.
Based on the results of the conference, an appropriate resolution will be formulated, which will include the main ideas and practical recommendations from the participants of the event.
