Deputy Head of DSUIA, Serhiy Melnyk, paid a working visit to the Czech Republic

During his visit to the Czech Republic, Deputy Head of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Serhiy Melnyk, attended a rally in support of Ukraine, the Police Academy of the Czech Republic, and met with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the company “Škoda Auto a.s.”

On February 24, 2024, in Prague, Serhiy Melnyk joined a large-scale rally in support of Ukraine, attended by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Jana Chernohova, and Tomas Kopecky, the authorized representative of the Czech government for the restoration of Ukraine.

During the visit, Serhiy Melnyk visited the Police Academy of the Czech Republic, where he familiarized himself with the material and technical base of the higher education institution, the work of faculties, and educational laboratories. Negotiations were held regarding cooperation and the possibility of organizing visits of DSUIA cadets to the Academy within the framework of academic mobility programs.

As part of the event, the Deputy Head of DSUIA met with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and representatives of the company “Škoda Auto a.s.” As a result of the meeting, the DSUIA Driving School for People with Disabilities will receive a Škoda car, on which students with musculoskeletal disorders will be able to learn driving skills.
