The cadets carry out tasks to ensure public safety and order during the state of emergency in the Chernivtsi region.
With the aim of detecting cases of illegal border crossing within the controlled border area, cadets participate in preventive and filtration measures, patrolling the service area, inspecting vehicles, and identifying and apprehending organizers who provide escort and transportation of individuals for monetary reward.
Special attention during the service is focused on identifying male individuals of conscription age who intend to illegally cross the state border; deserters from military units, as well as individuals who cannot explain the purpose of their presence in the controlled border area.
Based on the results of identifying offenders and organizers of illegal border crossing, decisions are made regarding administrative or criminal liability, with the preparation of relevant procedural documentation.
