Events were held at the DDUVS to mark International Women’s Day and International Peace Day.
The event began with the national anthem, followed by a minute of silence to honor the fallen.
Colonel of Police and Rector of the DDUVS, Oleksandr Morgunov, noted that modern women confidently hold their ground in many spheres and, alongside men, defend Ukraine in various capacities: on the front lines, in hospitals, in volunteer organizations, and in enterprises. He emphasized that there are also women in the university who, alongside men, fight for freedom and serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Morgunov underscored that wisdom, analytical thinking, and balance help organize the fight on the front lines, have weight on the diplomatic level, introduce Ukraine to the world through scientific achievements, and create a history of peace, equality, and justice.
The head of the educational institution wished for a speedy Victory, peace, harmony, warmth, love, and new achievements for the good of Ukraine.
Participants of the creative movement studio “eSTeD,” including cadets and students, presented vocal performances as part of the celebrations.
