Plastic Recycling: Ecology and Drone Procurement

NEWS

Students of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs participated in a volunteer action to collect plastic bottle caps.

The conditions of the action involve collecting caps from plastic bottles and delivering them to sorting centers that collaborate with volunteer organizations. Thanks to such cooperation, household waste recycling benefits not only the environment but also the military.

To aid the military, cadets collected 50 kilograms of plastic caps, which were donated to the sorting center “Underground_Dnepr.” After the plastic is handed over, the proceeds will go towards purchasing drones and their components for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“These actions are very effective. Every day we throw away plastic bottles without realizing that they can be beneficial. Therefore, upon learning about the volunteer initiative to collect caps, we gladly joined this endeavor because we are convinced that every hryvnia should benefit the Armed Forces and bring Victory closer. Therefore, cap collections, like other initiatives, will continue in the future”, – say the cadets.

The event was held as part of the implementation of the “Friendly Support” project.
