The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration presented the social and educational project “TitansUA,” created to support wounded military personnel and other representatives of the security and defense sector. The initiative was launched by the head of the region, Serhiy LISAK.
The “TitansUA” project was presented by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy LISAK. The project ambassadors – veterans who will work with comrades and their families on the principle of “peer-to-peer” support – will promote the initiative. The task of the ambassadors is to inspire heroes by their own example not to give up and to move forward. The project aims not only at rehabilitation but also at the integration of veterans into all spheres of life in the region.
Rector of DSUIA, Oleksandr Morgunov, emphasized the full support of the project by the institution of higher education: ambassadors will systematically undergo psychological training at the university, and project participants will have the opportunity to engage in sports, receive higher education in civilian specialties, and attend driving school for people with disabilities.
Serhiy LISAK thanked Oleksandr Morgunov for his support and outlined the directions for further cooperation between the administration and the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
