A training session on police response to cases of domestic violence was conducted for cadets of the Faculty of Training for Preventive Units at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
The event was led by Associate Professor Karina Pisotska from the Department of Administrative Law, Process, and Administrative Activity, along with lecturer Katerina Shendakova. As an expert, Inspector Lesya Romanenko from the Domestic Violence Prevention Sector of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region was invited.
Participants familiarized themselves with the peculiarities of responding to cases involving minors, persons with disabilities, and women as victims or perpetrators. Cadets practiced communicating with victims, completing documents, and responding to cases of domestic violence when the victim denies obvious facts.
At the end of the training, an analysis of the fulfillment of educational tasks was conducted.
