In order to foster national-patriotic education, cadets were presented with the books “Guard of the Offensive. Eyewitness” by Timur Nagalevsky and “Interrupted Flight” by Mykola Anatsky. Additionally, the learners watched the Oscar-winning film “20 Days in Mariupol.”
The film was produced in collaboration with Associated Press and American documentarians from Frontline. The material was shot by the team of Ukrainian journalist Mstyslav Chernov during the initial days of the siege of Mariupol.
“The documentary testimonies about life under siege and the atrocious crimes of the Russians evoke deep sympathy for all victims of the conflict. This film is an important source for understanding the events unfolding in Ukraine today,” commented future law enforcement officers.
Cadets familiarized themselves with the literary and artistic novel by Timur Nagalevsky, which, they say, combines real historical events with the writer’s flight of fancy. They also viewed the photo book by Mykola Anatsky, documenting the history and activities of the late head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrsky.
