Igor Kovalov, Vice-Rector of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), discussed the possibilities and directions of rehabilitation with veterans.
A meeting with veterans undergoing rehabilitation was held at the Rehabilitation Center of the Dnipropetrovsk State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise. Igor Kovalov, representing the institution of higher education, discussed interaction issues, participation in training and retraining at the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities based at DSUIA, opportunities for further employment, participation in sports and mass events, and more with the members of the rehabilitation group.
Igor Kovalov emphasized that DSUIA consistently supports veterans who have suffered serious injuries during combat operations and is ready to contribute to their social rehabilitation. Recently, the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs joined the regional project “TitansUA,” which involves the participation of veterans with disabilities in sports training.
