The purpose of the event was to familiarize cadets with the specifics of the work of UAV pilots (operators) in combat zones and the peculiarities of UAV management.
During the lecture, representatives of the Aviation and Water Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine informed the cadets about the work of their unit in combat zones, the execution of key tasks during combat sorties, and personal safety measures at combat deployment sites.
Special attention was paid to working with electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance equipment.
After the lecture, cadets asked questions about the elements of UAV control and the use of the “MAVIC – 3” quadcopter UAV, as well as the operation principle of electronic warfare equipment used to counter hostile UAVs.
