An open lecture was organized for students as part of the study of the discipline “Military History.”
The event was conducted by Professor Arthur MARGULOV, from the Department of International Relations and Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education. The invited guest was military historian and head of the branch “Military-Historical Museum” of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after V.V. Tarnovsky, Mykhailo ZHYROKHOV.
The attendees listened to a presentation on local wars after the collapse of the USSR, their causes, course, and consequences. During the discussion, students discovered new facts about the history of armed conflicts in the post-Soviet space.
According to the students, such events are very useful as they broaden the understanding of historical processes and increase interest in the topics being discussed.
