A simulation closely mirroring the reality of court proceedings in civil litigation was conducted with the 3rd-year cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police.
The binomial class was organized by the Department of Civil Law and Procedure under the guidance of the department’s lecturer Marina Loginova and practicing lawyer Artem Sukhyy. Higher education seekers learned about the peculiarities of conducting individual court sessions on various subject matters of dispute and analyzed the specifics of judicial proceedings in civil litigation.
Cadets were acquainted with the fundamental algorithms of case adjudication on the merits, the sequence of procedural actions during case hearings, and the issuance of principal court decisions. They also delved into clarifying the circumstances of the case and examining evidence in the courtroom, as well as engaging in judicial debates and making decisions. The acquired knowledge will aid future investigators in their practical activities and contribute to their professional development in the future.
