The Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) held its Track and Field Championship, organized by the Department of Special Physical Training.
Over 70 athletes from all faculties and institutes participated in the competition. They were joined by an additional 20 runners from the Dnipropetrovsk Vocational College of Sport of Dnipropetrovsk regional Council.
The athletes competed in various distances including 100m, 1000m, 3000m, 5000m, as well as relay races.
Results for the 5000m race (men) were as follows:
1st place – Dmytro Nekrasov (PI-144)
2nd place – Kyrylo Bohush (CP-333)
3rd place – Bohdan Yushko (CP-234)
In the 3000m race (men), the results were:
1st place – Ivan Doniev (CP-232)
2nd place – Dmytro Podchasov (CP-232)
3rd place – Vitaliy Yermakov (CP-333)
Top performers in the 1000m race (men) were:
1st place – Oleksandr Yarovyi (PI-244)
2nd place – Danylo Kryvorot (SI-141)
3rd place – Roman Fateyev (PI-344)
Winners of the 100m race (men) were:
1st place – Serhiy Turchak (SI-232)
2nd place – Oleksandr Bilan (PA-233)
3rd place – Bohdan Shvets (CP-332)
In the 1000m race (women), the champions were:
1st place – Olena Kubasova (PI-345)
2nd place – Yelizaveta Koval (PI-241)
3rd place – Diana Grynevych (PA-331)
For the 100m race (women), the top spots went to:
1st place – Diana Svitaylo (PI-141)
2nd place – Iryna Petrychenko (CP-333)
3rd place – Karina Markova (PA-232)
In the relay race, the PI 2nd-year team emerged as champions, followed by the KP 1st-year team in second place, and the PI 1st-year team in third place.
Overall, the team from the Institute of Law and Training for Units of the National Police took the victory, with the Criminal Police Faculty earning silver and the Preventive Activities Faculty securing bronze.
