Books are also weapons: cadets of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs participated in a charity campaign.

NEWS

Cadets of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs collected Russian-language literature – the proceeds from its recycling will go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The students supported the initiative for the second time, initiated by Dnipro activist Pavlo. Its goal is not only to “de-Russify” the home libraries of Ukrainians but also to draw public attention to the opportunity to support the military. All proceeds will be used to purchase a vehicle for the Defense Forces.

Future law enforcement officers did not stand aside: they brought another batch of literature to the collection point. They say the idea is very correct because the Ukrainian cultural space should be cleansed of the book monopoly of the occupier.

The students felt like active participants in an important charity event aimed at supporting the country’s defense capabilities. Therefore, they will continue to support the campaign.

The event took place within the framework of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department of Education, Science, and Sports project “Friendly Support”.
