Future law enforcement officers attended a series of masterclasses led by renowned practitioners and engaged in discussions on criminal procedure issues in times of war.
Speakers at the school included Supreme Court judges Oleg Tkachuk and Sergiy Fomin, lawyers Vadim Sidorenko and Volodymyr Khomenko, as well as prosecutor Yana Talizina from the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
Students from the Institute of Law and Training for Specialists in the Units of the National Police were recognized for their motivation, active participation, and willingness to improve their professional skills. The university team received a gift from Yana Talizina – a Scientific-Practical Commentary on Chapter 21 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine with Supreme Court case-law positions.
Cadets presented the achievements of the university’s representatives to the lecturers, including monographs and methodological recommendations authored by the faculty of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Strategic Investigations of DSUIA.
As part of the event, cadets delved into the discussion of current issues in criminal procedure, developed their public speaking skills, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities. All participants received corresponding certificates.
