As you embark on this new phase of service, remember that you will bear responsibility not only for your own actions but also for the fate of people who will rely on your assistance.
For the third year, Ukraine has been living and working under the conditions of Russian armed aggression initiated by a treacherous enemy. For three years, Ukrainian police officers have been the first to arrive at shelling sites, evacuating civilians from the hottest frontlines, and documenting the crimes of occupiers for international courts.
The functional duties of a police officer have fundamentally changed during this time, but it is the law enforcement officers who are an integral part of the Security and Defense Forces on the front lines. In the ranks of the assault brigade and combined units, it is the law enforcement officers who are the last hope for the rescue of civilian people, and it is the law enforcement officers who ensure security in every populated area of Ukraine.
Do not stray from truth, goodness, and honesty. Never forget that our strength lies in unity. Be worthy of your homeland and honor the sacrifice of the police officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty and in defense of Ukraine.
Do not rest on your laurels; overcome every challenge and trial. Be faithful to the Oath, the Ukrainian people, and the state.
