The Dynamo Ukraine Kettlebell Sport Championship took place from April 9th to 11th, 2024, in Lviv.
DSUIA cadets participated in the championship as part of the comprehensive competition program “Dynamyada-2024” among national teams of law enforcement agencies, rescue and other special services, as well as among national teams of higher education institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the team standings, the DSUIA team ranked 5th, improving their previous year’s result by four positions. In the individual standings, athletes from the university team improved their recent performances and showed worthy competition in weight categories.
Private of Police Mykita Bychykhin, a cadet of the PD-233 study group, took the third prize in the weight category up to 78 kilograms. The university team was prepared under the guidance of the team coach, Victoria Kovalyuk, and the instructor of the Department of Special Physical Training, Police Captain Dmytro Anisimov.
